About WakeUpScreen

WakeUpScreen turns on the phone display when a notification arrives. Users grant notification access, then choose which apps are allowed to wake the screen. Pocket mode detects when the device is in a pocket or bag and keeps the display off. The app can also pause wake-ups while Do Not Disturb is enabled, limit them to charging periods, or apply custom sleep hours. A custom wake duration controls how long the screen stays lit. Persistent notifications, such as music playback or navigation, can be filtered out. A notification log shows channel details including importance, sound, and vibration, and a test page helps diagnose notification events. The app runs in the background and is designed to operate without a network connection. WakeUpScreen is intended for users who want selected notifications to be visible immediately while filtering less important alerts. It requires notification access, and its app filters, pocket detection, and quiet-period controls can be enabled or adjusted individually. The app is described as having no ads, tracking, analytics, or network permission, with all processing on the device.
