Whatly is a desktop client for WhatsApp Web with a native application window. It includes system-tray access, desktop notifications, chat themes, spell-check, privacy blur and support for multiple accounts. These features help bring web-based messaging into a desktop workflow, with notifications and quick access from the tray. Privacy blur can obscure chat content on screen, while themes and multiple accounts offer control over presentation and account use. Whatly is available for Linux and Windows, with an experimental macOS build. It is intended for users who want a desktop wrapper for WhatsApp Web with added interface and notification features. The tray and notification features help keep conversations accessible while other desktop work is in progress.
