About WhatsOpen

WhatsOpen opens a WhatsApp conversation with a phone number even when that number is not saved as a contact. Users can enter a number with its country code, select a number detected in the clipboard, or choose an entry from the recent call log. Call history can be filtered by call type and by whether a number is already a WhatsApp contact. The app provides a shortcut into WhatsApp rather than sending or storing messages itself. Its interface uses Material 3 styling and supports light and dark themes. Reading call logs and contacts is optional to the main idea but enables recent-call browsing and display of contact names alongside phone numbers. WhatsOpen processes information on the device and is described as having no network access, analytics, or tracking. It is useful when someone wants to start a chat without first adding a number to their address book. The supplied description does not mention support for other messaging apps.
