About Windows Cloud IO Protection driver
Windows Cloud IO Protection driver protects keyboard input sent from an endpoint to a hosted Windows desktop session. It uses a kernel-level driver and system-level encryption to route keystrokes to the cloud session through a protected path. The evidence says that only endpoints with the protection component installed can connect when the feature is enabled, and connections from unprotected endpoints are blocked. This is intended to reduce risks from endpoint threats that could capture input. It applies to configured cloud desktop sessions and requires compatible protection on both the endpoint and host; the description does not establish protection against every form of compromise.
