About wip
wip is a command-line wrapper for Microsoft WSLC that collects a project’s container, image, environment variables and commands in a single wip.yml file. It then forwards them to WSLC as argument arrays without shell interpolation. The configuration file brings the inputs for a container workflow together, helping developers run the same project setup consistently. Passing arguments without shell interpolation keeps command construction structured. wip is a self-contained Native AOT executable with no runtime installation requirement. It is intended for developers who want a concise, project-based command-line workflow around WSLC. A project-level file makes the same environment settings easier to repeat across development sessions.
