About WM Keyboard

WM Keyboard is an Android keyboard that performs prediction, autocorrection, swipe typing, transliteration, and word learning on the device. It supports more than 800 languages and over 1,700 layouts, including native scripts, romanized input, and layouts for constructed languages. A new installation can start with languages matching the phone’s system settings and suggest others from the device’s language list. The keyboard’s predictive engine combines a local bigram model with context ranking and on-device learning of words and phrases. Autocorrection uses a likelihood-based threshold and can avoid changing URLs, email addresses, and punctuation. Bengali input supports phonetic typing and an alternate layout, with conjunct-aware backspace. Emoji search, animated emoji, custom stickers, and per-person skin tones are included. A toolbox provides clipboard history with search and pinning, text snippets, calculation, unit and currency conversion, calendars, translation, dictionary lookup, web search, camera access, media controls, and app launching. Optional voice input uses Android’s speech recognizer, and optional AI writing tools can use a user-supplied key or server. Network tools are initiated by the user; automatic language-data downloads are off by default. Password fields disable learning, suggestions, and clipboard capture, and incognito mode does the same. Themes can customize colors, fonts, key shapes, textures, and backgrounds. The keyboard can be resized, split, floated, or used one-handed. It has no telemetry, ads, or network permission. User data is encrypted locally, and dictionaries can be backed up through export. Some optional capabilities are omitted from this build because they depend on external libraries.
