About Work Profile VPN Switcher
Work Profile VPN Switcher monitors VPN connections and changes the state of an Android work profile accordingly. Its main mode disables the work profile while a VPN is active, then can restore the profile after the VPN disconnects. This is useful when work-profile apps should not run through a particular VPN connection. Users can monitor only selected VPN apps through an allowlist, or monitor all VPN connections except those excluded by a denylist. If the profile is manually re-enabled while a VPN is connected, the app can either disable it again or disable the VPN instead. The latter option uses a dummy VPN connection. Background polling is available as a fallback when event-based VPN detection is unreliable. The app requires Android 11 or later, an existing work profile, and a manually granted Android permission to manage quiet mode. The dummy-VPN option also requires VPN permission. Some devices may need background polling and battery-optimization settings adjusted for reliable operation. The interface is available in Russian and English.
