About Wortmühle
Wortmühle is an offline daily German word puzzle played on a 3-by-3 board of nine letters. Players form as many words as they can, with every word required to use the center letter. Each puzzle contains at least one pangram, a word that uses all nine letters. A new puzzle is available each day, and puzzles from the previous seven days can be replayed. The game includes 2,500 puzzles, enough for almost seven years at one per day. Scores use German Scrabble letter values, with a bonus for pangrams. Tapping a found word displays its definition from a bundled dictionary, so definitions are available without a network connection. Wortmühle is entirely in German. It requires no permissions, accounts, or network access and has no ads or tracking. Light and dark appearances can be selected or set to follow the system. Its daily format, replay window, scoring, and built-in definitions combine word-building practice with a compact offline puzzle routine.
