About Yabe
Yabe is a graphical explorer for BACnet devices and includes a BACnet library written in C#. BACnet is a communication protocol used in building automation. The explorer can browse devices and perform operations such as reading and writing values, reading or writing multiple values, discovering devices, subscribing to change notifications, and transferring files. Yabe supports BACnet over MS/TP, Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, and SecureConnect. It includes demo servers that simulate a general device, a room controller, and a weather service, plus sample C# code for developers. A capture tool is also provided for examining MS/TP traffic when used with suitable hardware. These capabilities make Yabe useful for testing and developing building-automation integrations. Users should take care when writing values to live equipment, since those changes can affect connected systems.
