About YazSes
YazSes is an offline speech-to-text and voice-dictation tool. A user holds a key, speaks, and releases it to have the recognized words typed into the currently focused window. Transcription runs locally on the computer’s processor, without a cloud service, API key, or account. The tool can also transcribe saved recordings, optionally label speakers, and capture a full meeting as a speaker-labelled transcript with locally generated minutes. These workflows cover both immediate dictation and later processing of audio files. Because recognition happens on-device, it can be used when audio should remain on the computer or when an internet connection is unavailable. Transcription quality and speed depend on the recording, language, and the computer’s resources.
