About zcode-switch
zcode-switch is a desktop utility for switching between multiple saved accounts while keeping each account’s configuration separate. Before a switch, it preserves the current login, then replaces the active identity and configuration together. The account list can show quota information and reset times, grouped by plan, and the application can check eligible promotions. It also supports logging in to add accounts without replacing the current one. The tool includes encrypted import and export of account bundles, with password-based encryption, and offers both a desktop interface and command-line automation. Its interface can be displayed in two languages. Account data is kept locally, quota requests go directly to the service, and the application uses temporary files followed by atomic replacement when writing configuration. These features are designed to make frequent account changes manageable while retaining saved logins and their associated settings.
