Zelp

About Zelp

Zelp is an Android utility for Amazfit and Zepp watches. After signing into an Amazfit account, it can retrieve Bluetooth pairing keys for use with Gadgetbridge, download GPS assistance data, and browse catalogs of watch apps and watch faces. Selected packages can be downloaded, and the app can display QR codes used with the watch’s developer mode to install them. The app also provides firmware history and downloads without requiring an account. GPS support includes downloading assistance packs and optionally building a GPS data file for the watch. The listed account functions are tied to Amazfit services; Xiaomi Mi Fitness sign-in is not supported. Zelp does not replace the watch’s standard companion service, and several features depend on cloud APIs that the app accesses directly. Credentials are stored on the device and are sent to the relevant service only when the user signs in, according to the description. Firmware, watch apps, and watch faces are downloaded only after the user chooses them. Zelp contains no advertising or Google Play Services. There is no self-hosted substitute for the cloud services used by account, GPS, and catalog features, so those functions depend on the provider’s infrastructure and network availability. Zelp is free software under GPL version 3 or later. It can help watch owners retrieve pairing material, update GPS assistance, and install selected watch packages, especially when using Gadgetbridge. The product description states that it is independent of the watch manufacturers and is not endorsed by them.
