About Albi

Albi is a health-tracking app that stores health information on the device. It does not require an account and is described as having no cloud synchronization, ads, analytics, or tracking. Users can record weight in several units, blood pressure, resting heart rate, mood, waist measurement, and waist-to-height ratio. Blood pressure entries include automatic category guidance, and heart rate can be recorded by itself or alongside a blood pressure reading. The app presents progress through interactive charts for weight, blood pressure, heart rate, mood, and waist trends. Blood pressure and heart rate can be viewed together, and the home screen includes recent readings and a health summary. Gentle reminders can prompt users to keep backups current. Data can be backed up and restored from a local file or exported to CSV for personal analysis. Optional on-device encryption and a biometric app lock provide additional controls for protecting access to the stored data. The lock can impose a delay after repeated failed attempts. Albi is intended as a personal health diary for tracking measurements and viewing changes over time. It does not replace professional medical assessment, and the product description does not establish how its category guidance should be interpreted. Its stated design keeps records locally under the user’s control. Measurements can be entered in kilograms, pounds, or stones for weight, while blood pressure is recorded as systolic and diastolic values. Resting heart rate can stand alone or be associated with a blood-pressure reading, and mood and waist measurements add non-cardiovascular tracking categories. Charts show trends over time, and the summary screen gathers recent entries in one place. CSV export provides a file for analysis outside the app, while backup and restore keep a local copy available. Encryption and biometric locking are optional controls, rather than requirements for using the tracker. Both are optional security features.
