About Anjuta
Anjuta is an integrated development environment for building software projects. Its tools bring project management, a project wizard, source editing, interactive debugging, version control, graphical interface design, and profiling into one workspace. The project wizard starts new work from templates, including generic, GTK+, GNOME, Java, and Python project types, with additional templates available for installation. Anjuta’s features are organized as plugins that can be enabled or disabled. Users can select the plugins needed for a particular project, and the active set and interface layout are saved with that project. This lets the environment adapt to projects with different levels of complexity while keeping each project’s configuration available when returning to it. The plugin system also provides a way to add custom features, so the tools in the workspace can be extended beyond the built-in set.
