About AquarellNotes
AquarellNotes is a local-first Android app for written notes and shopping lists. Notes can be created, edited, pinned, colored, deleted, shared, searched, filtered by color, and sorted by date, color, or alphabetically. Users can switch between list and detail views and choose light, dark, or high-contrast appearance. Shopping lists are managed separately from notes. Multiple named lists can be created, and individual items can be added, edited, checked off, deleted, reset, cleared, duplicated, or shared. Lists can also be imported from shared message text or from AquarellNotes import links, making it easier to bring in a list received from another person. The app stores its data locally using a device database and has no account, ads, analytics, tracking, or cloud dependency. It supports German and English, and can follow the Android system language. Its soft watercolor-inspired cards provide a visual style for notes, while list presentation is kept practical for checking items during shopping.
