About Baluchon
Baluchon helps groups track and settle shared expenses during a trip. Users create a trip, add participants, and optionally group them by family. Each person can be assigned a share weight, such as a full or half share, and the split can be adjusted for individual expenses. Expenses can have dates, names, and one or more payers; simple arithmetic expressions can be entered as amounts. The app calculates each participant’s or family’s balance, the cost per person, and a minimal list of reimbursements. Actual transfers between people can be recorded to settle balances. Multiple currencies are supported with a custom exchange rate for each expense. Trip summaries can be exported as PDF or JSON, and JSON files can be merged across participants’ devices. Baluchon works offline, requires no account, and stores data on the phone. It is suited to travel groups that need to track who paid and how costs should be shared.
