About Birthday Adapter
Birthday Adapter brings birthdays, anniversaries, and other dates from Android contacts into a dedicated system calendar. Users can choose which contact accounts or groups to include, show or hide the calendar alongside their regular schedule, and set multiple reminders for events. Ages can be added automatically, and major anniversaries can be marked. The app can synchronize any custom-labeled date stored in a contact, including anniversaries and family birthdays. Event titles and calendar colors are customizable, and users can choose which event types trigger notifications. Background synchronization keeps calendar entries updated when contact dates change. Birthday Adapter reads dates from the address book rather than requiring a separate list. It provides a calendar integration layer, allowing contact events to appear in any calendar app that can display the Android calendar. The app is open source under GPLv3.
