About BirthDayDroid
BirthDayDroid scans the phone’s local contact list for birthday entries and helps the user remember upcoming dates. For each contact with a recorded birthday, it can show the person’s age, zodiac sign, and the number of days until the birthday. Notifications can remind the user of birthdays. The app requires contact access to read birthday information and can run at startup to support notifications. It is free, open-source, and ad-free. BirthDayDroid is intended to use dates already stored in contacts rather than maintaining a separate birthday list. Using birthdays already recorded in contacts avoids entering the same dates again in a separate tracker.
