About Cams
Cams is an Android viewer for RTSP streams from IP cameras. It can display multiple camera feeds on one screen, supports H.265+ video, and provides image zoom. Two-channel cameras are supported, and the app can also view video over SFTP. Motion detection is available, and users can set a maximum connection speed or switch between TCP and UDP transport. The choice can matter when viewing cameras over the internet or on a network where UDP is not supported reliably. The interface is designed for straightforward camera navigation and control. Cams is described as not collecting or processing personal information and not sending data to external servers or camera manufacturers’ cloud storage. It is intended for viewing streams from cameras the user can access, rather than managing camera recordings in a cloud service.
