About ClipRecorder
ClipRecorder is an Android video recorder with tools for organizing and editing clips locally. It records in portrait or landscape, supports slow-motion and time-lapse modes, and can start after a countdown. Optional GPS tagging can be added to video metadata, and a home-screen widget provides a shortcut to begin recording. Clips can be browsed in list or grid views, reordered by dragging, and previewed before editing. The editor offers visual effects such as grayscale, sepia, color and contrast adjustments, film grain, vignette, and fades. Users can add background music, export GIFs, and generate title cards with custom text, subtitle, duration, orientation, and background color. Title cards can be placed in the clip list and merged with other recordings. Multiple clips can be combined in a chosen order, with previews available before merging. ClipRecorder performs processing on the device and has no internet permission, analytics, crash reporting, or cloud dependency. The interface is currently available in Japanese only. It is intended for recording and assembling short videos without relying on an online editing service.
