About Deep Links for LabCoat
Deep Links for LabCoat is a small Android utility that opens links to self-hosted GitLab instances in the LabCoat app. It handles links that point to GitLab servers outside the main public service, then passes them to LabCoat so they can be opened in the client rather than a browser. The utility works with a signed-in LabCoat account for the relevant self-hosted instance. LabCoat needs a valid personal access token for that server to display its content, including when the link itself points to something publicly viewable in a browser. This means the link-handling app does not bypass the authentication setup required by the client. Deep Links for LabCoat has a narrow role: route links for self-hosted GitLab servers into the compatible Android client. It is useful for users who work with more than one GitLab server and want links from those servers to open in the corresponding mobile app.
