About DFCGen (GTK+)
DFCGen (GTK+) is a digital filter coefficient generator that helps engineers design and analyze digital filters. It supports work with linear time-invariant, discrete-time systems: systems whose behavior does not change over time and whose inputs and outputs are represented at discrete time steps. The application addresses both analysis and synthesis from a theoretical perspective. For a selected system type and its parameters, DFCGen generates transfer function coefficients in the Z-domain, a mathematical representation used to describe discrete-time systems. This connects the chosen design to the coefficients needed to characterize its behavior, supporting engineering work on filter and system design. Generated coefficients reflect the chosen system parameters.
