About DNG Processor
DNG Processor converts RAW images in the DNG format into JPEG files on Android. It monitors for new RAW images captured by the phone’s camera app or by another camera app that can save RAW files. When new images are available, processing happens in the background, using the phone’s GPU and taking up to a few seconds according to the product description. The resulting JPEGs are placed in the DCIM/Processed folder. The app is designed to automate conversion after capture, so users do not need to manually open each image in a separate editor. Its scope is specifically DNG-to-JPEG processing; the available information does not describe image adjustments, compression controls, batch selection, or other RAW formats. It does not claim to replace a full photo editor. DNG Processor is useful for creating JPEG copies of supported RAW captures in a predictable folder while leaving the camera workflow largely automatic.
