About DoliDroid
DoliDroid is an Android front end for using a hosted Dolibarr business-management system from a phone. It displays the existing web installation and its enabled modules, so the functions already available on the server can be accessed through the mobile interface. It is not a standalone accounting or business system and requires a compatible hosted instance. The app adapts the interface for a smaller screen by replacing wide menus with a persistent menu button and providing quick search across items. It uses cached pages for content that does not change during a session and can use image resources from the server to reduce repeated transfers. Tapping a PDF opens a PDF reader, while phone numbers and email links can open the corresponding Android apps. Connection details are saved so users do not need to enter them for each session. DoliDroid is intended for people who already operate or use a Dolibarr instance and want access to its existing features from Android, including features supplied by external modules.
