About drejo player
drejo player is a small Android video player focused on reliable next and previous controls across files in the same folder. It builds a playlist from the chosen folder, including mixed MP4 and MKV videos, so users can move through a collection without opening each file separately. Unsupported or damaged files are skipped rather than stopping playback. During playback, double-tapping the left or right side seeks backward or forward; repeated taps increase the seek interval up to a limit based on video length. A rotation button can force portrait or landscape orientation, or follow the device sensor even when system rotation lock is enabled. The player can optionally request access to all files so that opening a video from any file manager still allows folder-wide next and previous playback, including in folders hidden from the media scanner. Without that permission, users can choose a folder through Android’s system picker. drejo player plays video only; it has no audio-only mode or image viewer. It is open source and is described as having no ads, tracking, or analytics.
