About Emborg
Emborg is an offline viewer and task manager for Org-mode files. It can browse .org files from any folder using Android’s Storage Access Framework and display headings, paragraphs, lists, emphasis, and links with lightweight Org-aware formatting. The app aggregates TODO items from multiple Org files into one task list. Users can edit a task’s TODO state, tags, and notes, so task management is connected to the underlying files rather than held in a separate online service. Light and dark themes are available. Emborg works without network access and is described as having no analytics, ads, or tracking. It is intended for people who keep notes and tasks in Org files and want a mobile way to browse them and manage TODO entries across files.
