About ExprEval
ExprEval is a math expression calculator for Android that can evaluate expressions containing variables and functions. Users can assign values to variables, then reuse them in later calculations, and can define custom functions as well as use built-in functions such as logarithms and trigonometry. Variables and functions can be edited from the expression prompt or through dialogs. For users who want to understand how a result was obtained, the app can display parsing and evaluation steps. On Android 6.0 and later, selected text in another app can be sent to ExprEval for evaluation through the system’s text-processing action. The app includes English and Italian localization, and its interface is designed to be localizable. ExprEval suits quick calculations as well as experimentation with reusable values and function definitions. The supplied feature list does not specify a symbolic algebra system, graphing, or equation solving, so its documented purpose is evaluating expressions and showing the steps involved.
