About Faugus

Faugus Launcher is a desktop launcher for running games through UMU-Launcher. It provides a way to add games and start them with configurable compatibility settings. Users can choose a Proton version for an individual game or use the default Proton version, allowing different titles to use different runtime configurations. The launcher includes a Proton Manager and options for working with a game’s prefix, the environment used by compatibility software for that title. It can run a file within a selected prefix and supports backups. Gamepad navigation is available for settings and launcher controls, and the interface can display playtime and last-played information. Faugus Launcher is useful for organizing and launching games in a compatibility setup where per-game settings matter. The actual ability to run a title depends on UMU, the selected Proton version, and the game’s compatibility. The available information does not claim that every game will work.
