About GCompris
GCompris is an educational activity suite for children aged 2 to 10. It includes more than 100 activities across areas such as computer discovery, arithmetic, science, games, and reading. Some activities use game-like challenges while teaching or practicing a skill. Children can explore keyboard and mouse use, practice arithmetic, learn science concepts, work on reading, or play activities such as memory games, Sudoku, and mazes. Other activities introduce telling time, Braille, and musical instruments. The range of subjects makes GCompris suitable for varied learning sessions, with activities that combine practice and play. The collection includes more than 100 activities, with additional activities being developed.
