About FeelS
FeelS is an Android app for naming and recording emotions through brief check-ins. A feelings wheel organizes choices into primary, secondary, and tertiary layers, helping users move from a broad feeling to a more specific one. Each check-in can include an intensity rating and an optional note, so the log can capture both the selected emotion and a little personal context. The app provides a history view, a 30-day heatmap, and weekly mood widgets for reviewing patterns over time. Daily reminders can be turned off or rescheduled. A breathing shortcut and gentle grounding prompt are available after a high-distress entry, offering a brief reflection aid within the check-in flow. Logs can be exported to or imported from JSON, allowing them to be moved to another phone. Check-ins are stored in an encrypted database on the device, and the product description says emotion data is not sent to a server. FeelS is described as a local-first tool for personal reflection, not medical care, diagnosis, or crisis support. Its features center on recording feelings and viewing trends rather than interpreting them as a clinical assessment.
