About FFShare
FFShare compresses image, video, and audio files before they are shared from Android. Users send media to the app through the system share menu, where FFShare processes it with FFmpeg. When processing finishes, Android’s share dialog appears again with the smaller output file ready to send through another app. The product description says the process also removes metadata attached to the media. This can reduce file size and strip embedded information before sharing, while leaving the original sharing workflow intact. FFShare is open source and is focused on preparing media for sharing rather than providing a general editing or media-library interface. The app displays compression progress before presenting the processed file.
