About Flybook
Flybook is an offline flight logbook for Android. It lets users record details about individual flights, including date, flight number, airline, departure and arrival airports, aircraft, registration, seat, cabin class, times, distance, and notes. When users enter airport codes and an airline, bundled reference data can fill in related names and locations, aircraft type, distance, and an estimated duration. A dashboard summarizes a user’s flying history with totals for flights, distance, time in the air, airlines, countries, and airports, along with a monthly activity chart. Additional statistics rank frequently used aircraft, airlines, routes, airports, registrations, seats, and countries. The app also presents a retrospective of the flight history and can plot routes on an interactive map with selectable base styles and route colors. Logbooks can be imported or exported as CSV or JSON, including a supported flight log export format. The app works offline for its logging and statistics; the map fetches map tiles when opened. This makes Flybook suitable for maintaining a personal record of flights and reviewing patterns over time without requiring an online account.
