About Godot Dice Roller

Godot Dice Roller is a 3D dice-rolling control for projects built with the Godot engine. Developers can configure a set of dice including d4, d6, d8, d10, d10x10, d12, and d20, and customize their colors, shapes, engravings, and materials. The rolling box also has configurable dimensions and color. The control provides three result modes: physics-emulated rolling, faster random result generation, and a mode that uses values supplied by the calling code. The latter can represent rolls performed remotely. A roll can be triggered interactively or programmatically, and a signal notifies the project when rolling has finished. Code can retrieve individual results or add them together. The control adapts to the available layout space and adjusts its camera to keep the rolling area visible. It can also rotate the box when the control’s aspect ratio differs from the box’s. Godot Dice Roller is a development component rather than a standalone dice game; it is intended to be embedded in Godot projects.
