About Health Disconnect
Health Disconnect is an Android app for exploring health and fitness records from Health Connect. It reads more than 35 kinds of metrics, including steps, heart rate, sleep, blood pressure, weight, nutrition, exercise, and menstrual data. Interactive charts can display values over day, week, month, year, or all-time ranges, with configurable aggregation such as sum, average, minimum, or maximum. Users can create custom views that combine multiple metrics, choose chart types and time windows, and save those views for quick access. Custom charts can be pinned as resizable home screen widgets with configurable refresh intervals. Advanced settings include logarithmic or normalized axes, smoothing, bucket sizes, custom units, and minimum or maximum labels. Data can be exported as raw entries or aggregated values in CSV, and charts can be shared as images. The app does not have network permission and does not collect or transmit health data. It reads from Health Connect and renders the results locally; data leaves the device only if the user explicitly exports or shares it. Health measurements are not stored by the app or included in its backup, although saved chart views and their settings can be part of Android’s standard device backup.
