About Heaptrack
Heaptrack is a memory profiler that records an application’s memory allocations and attaches stack traces to them. Developers can inspect the resulting profile to identify code paths that use large amounts of memory or make frequent allocation calls. This can help locate places where an application’s memory footprint may be reduced. The analysis can also reveal memory leaks, where allocated memory is not later released, and temporary allocations that are freed soon after being created. By connecting allocation events to stack traces, Heaptrack helps developers investigate where memory is being used and how allocation behavior changes during a program’s execution.
