About HOPE 26

HOPE 26 is a program companion for the Hackers On Planet Earth conference. It helps attendees navigate a multi-day event with talks, workshops, presentations, projects, and other activities. The schedule is arranged by day and room, with a grid view designed to make the timetable easier to scan on phones and tablets. Each session can include a detailed description with information such as its speakers, start time, room, and related links. Users can search and filter the full program, save sessions to a favorites list, and export that list. Alarms can be set for individual sessions, and events can be added to a personal calendar or shared through a web link. The app also tracks changes to the program and can update it automatically, with automatic updating adjustable in settings. A helper coordination system is integrated for volunteer scheduling. The interface supports multiple languages, while the session descriptions are excluded from that translation coverage. The app is intended to make the published conference schedule easier to browse and personalize; it does not provide the session content itself or answer questions about individual talks. Attendees can use HOPE 26 to plan a day in advance, check which room hosts a session, and keep reminders close at hand while moving between activities. The combination of a room-based timetable, searchable listings, saved favorites, and change tracking supports both careful itinerary planning and quick checks during the conference.
