About ImgurViewer
ImgurViewer opens image and video links received from other Android apps. It can handle links from more than 30 media services and is described as supporting most media links shared from Reddit. It also attempts to handle any URL whose path ends in a recognized image extension. The app is designed for quick viewing: when another app shares a media link, ImgurViewer can open the linked content directly, rather than requiring the user to copy the address into a browser. Although it began as a viewer for one image-hosting service, it has expanded to support a wider range of image and video links. ImgurViewer is a link handler and media viewer, not a general-purpose browser or a tool for uploading content. The supplied evidence does not list the supported services or explain which video formats can be played. Compatibility depends on the structure of the shared URL and whether the linked service can provide the media to the app.
