About Information about NCBS
Information about NCBS is an Android reference app for people who need practical information about the NCBS campus and nearby locations. It brings together transport timings, important contacts, and lecture-hall venue information, so users can check common campus details from a phone. A central feature is its shuttle and buggy schedule section. The app includes routes between NCBS and IISc, ICTS, Mandara, and CBL, with the described directions represented as separate routes where applicable. Users can add their own routes through the Manage Transport section and remove routes they no longer need. This lets the transport list be adapted to a person’s regular journeys instead of being limited to the included entries. The app is described as unofficial, so it should be understood as a convenience reference rather than an official campus service. Its stated purpose is to keep local logistical information in one place: checking transport, looking up contacts, and finding lecture venues. The supplied information does not describe live location tracking or automatic schedule updates, so the listed route and timing information is the scope that can be established.
