About JRBP Survey
JRBP Survey is a fieldwork app for registered volunteers taking part in an ant survey at the Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. It helps surveyors navigate to designated locations, identify ants, record observations, and upload those records to a central database. The app supports a defined research workflow rather than general-purpose wildlife logging. Volunteers can use it to locate survey points and document which ant species are observed at each site. Recording and uploading observations connects field collection with the survey’s shared data. Access is intended for registered participants in the project, so it is not designed as a public identification guide or open citizen-science app.
