About Kimai TimeTracker
Kimai TimeTracker is an Android client for adding and reviewing time entries in an existing Kimai installation. It provides a mobile shortcut to the time-tracking service, so users can log work without repeatedly opening a browser, navigating to the site, and signing in. An option can keep the user logged in after the app starts. The client is designed for people who already use Kimai for work-time management and want to enter records from a phone. The supplied description focuses on making the existing time-entry workflow quicker; it does not describe a standalone local time tracker or separate reporting system. Kimai TimeTracker depends on access to a running Kimai installation. Its role is to simplify mobile access to that service and reduce the steps needed to add time entries.
