About Learn reading (in french)
Learn reading (in french) helps children practice French reading through exercises similar to early primary-school activities. It can ask learners to match a word with an image, complete a missing syllable, arrange syllables or letters into a word, or write a word from dictation. The image collection is adapted to the cultural context of West Africa. Words are organized into seven levels that progress from simple syllables toward more complex combinations. This gives children a gradual sequence of reading and spelling practice, with several exercise types for working on the same developing skills. The app is intended for children learning to read French or practicing French in a West African context.
