About LearnTube
LearnTube is a video client that adds study tools to YouTube viewing. Bookmarked playlists become learning paths with progress bars showing watched videos and summaries of active or completed paths and weekly study time. Users can mark individual videos as watched or unwatched, apply bulk actions to a playlist, and save notes tied to timestamps in a video. Tapping a note returns to that point. The app also tracks study streaks, total viewing time, and active days in a calendar. It supports background audio, picture-in-picture, live streams, subtitles, channel subscriptions without an account, notifications for new videos, grouped channels, history, playlists, and video or audio downloads. It can also access content from several other media services. LearnTube is an unofficial client that parses websites rather than using the YouTube API and does not require Google services or an account. Content access and playback depend on the underlying services. Its learning tools organize viewing progress and notes; they do not assess comprehension or verify the accuracy of video content.
