About LibreOffice Viewer
LibreOffice Viewer opens office documents on Android for reading. It supports OpenDocument files such as ODT, ODS, ODP, and ODG; newer Microsoft Office formats including DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX; and older DOC, XLS, and PPT files. It is a simplified mobile viewer built on the same underlying technology as the desktop office suite, making it useful for opening common text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and drawings on a phone or tablet. The app also contains experimental editing features that can be enabled in its settings. These tools are not described as ready for production use, so the primary supported role is viewing documents, with editing available for experimentation. The software is open source.
