About maCat
maCat is a personal wardrobe catalog for clothing, shoes, and jewelry. Users can photograph items with the in-app camera or add images from the gallery, then browse their collection in a full-screen vertical feed, one item at a time. A grid view provides another way to scan the catalog and jump to a particular item. Items can be grouped and filtered by category, and edited or deleted as needed. For adding many items, maCat supports a bulk workflow: take photographs first and name each item afterward. The layout adapts to phones and foldable devices. The app stores everything on the device and is described as having no account, network access, or tracking. maCat is designed to make a personal wardrobe searchable and browsable through images, rather than to suggest outfits or track purchases.
