About MainTask
MainTask manages recurring and one-time tasks with reminders. Recurring items can repeat after a chosen number of days, weekly, or monthly, while one-time tasks can have an optional target date. Tasks can include checklists and photos, and completion history is kept for later review. The app provides a monthly calendar, search, category filters, a scrollable home-screen widget, and a Quick Settings tile. Notifications can arrive up to 14 days before a task is due, at its due time, or according to a custom per-task schedule. Users can mark a task done or snooze it directly from the notification. Backups include task history and attached photos. MainTask works without an account and keeps data on the device; Android backup is optional and off by default. It is available in English and French, with five color themes and dark mode. The app is suited to recurring household or maintenance tasks as well as one-off errands.
