About Markor
Markor is an offline text editor for notes and task lists. It works with plain-text formats including Markdown, todo.txt, and Zim Wiki, and stores documents in a notebook folder that can be changed to another location on the filesystem. QuickNote and To-Do are text files, so they can also be opened by other text editors and tools. The editor provides syntax highlighting, format-related actions, quick insertion of pictures and to-do items, autosave, undo, and redo. Documents can be converted, previewed, and shared as HTML or PDF. Through Android’s share menu, text from another app can be saved as a note, copied, reshared, or used to open a contained link. Markor works offline. It can be used alongside separate synchronization apps, but those apps handle the syncing; Markor itself is a file-based editor. The interface is customizable, includes a dark theme, and allows a language to be selected independently of the device language. The supplied description states that it has no ads or unnecessary permissions.
