About Massif-Visualizer
Massif-Visualizer analyzes memory profiles produced by running an application with the Massif memory-profiling tool. It displays memory consumption over time in an interactive chart and lets users inspect individual snapshots in detail. Compressed profile files in gzip or bzip2 format can also be opened. The visualizer can summarize peak memory use by allocating function and display call graphs for snapshot analysis when an additional graph viewer is available. This helps developers move from an overall memory-use curve to the code paths associated with particular points in the run, making it easier to investigate where memory is allocated and how usage changes.
