Meditate is a meditation timer with session logs and progress views. It offers countdown, stopwatch, and box-breathing modes. In box breathing, users can choose a preset pattern or set the length of each phase, with a moving dot tracing the breathing cycle. Guided mode can play an audio file selected by the user and ring bells when the track finishes. Sessions can use starting, interval, and ending bells, with fixed, periodic, or randomized intervals. Sound, vibration, or both can be selected, and users can choose audio files and custom vibration patterns. Presets support regular sessions, while a home-screen widget starts a common practice with one tap. The session log is grouped by date and supports labels and notes. Statistics include a daily-goal ring, a 13-week contribution heatmap, charts, and totals by label. Data can be imported or exported as CSV, and sessions can be imported from another meditation timer. Everything works offline and is stored in a local database. Optional synchronization between devices uses the user’s own Nextcloud server, and changes merge when devices reconnect. The app has no account, telemetry, or tracking, and connects only to the configured server when sync is enabled.
