About MoasdaWiki

MoasdaWiki is a mobile frontend for a self-hosted knowledge wiki. It synchronizes wiki content from a MoasdaWiki Server instance running on the user’s private network and mirrors that content on the phone. A full-text search helps find material, and calendar integration can add birthdays and events to the mobile calendar. The app connects directly to the configured server and does not use a cloud service, according to its description. After an administrator grants the device access and the content is synchronized, the app provides a mobile copy for reading and searching. The Android app is read-only: changes to wiki pages must be made through the server rather than typed on the phone. MoasdaWiki is therefore a companion for people who already run the server software. It is intended to make a private wiki available on a mobile device, not to host content independently. The supplied setup requires enabling LAN access and granting the device a synchronization session on the server.
