About MyFinanceMate
MyFinanceMate is an Android expense tracker that records transactions from bank alert text messages and also allows manual entry. It organizes income and expenses, provides category management with smart categorization, and displays spending through bar and pie charts. These tools let users review their financial activity by category and see how it changes over time. The app can remind users about recurring payments, while backup and restore support managing a copy of the finance records. PIN and biometric security options are available. MyFinanceMate is designed to work offline, with data stored locally on the device, and the product information says it has no ads or trackers. MyFinanceMate focuses on turning transaction alerts into a spending record while retaining manual entry for transactions that are not captured automatically. Users can review the resulting income and expense history, adjust categories, and use charts to understand their spending. The app is open source and uses a Material 3 interface with theme support.
